Entry-level Porsche Roadster Delayed

Given the current economic downturn in Europe, Porsche's entry-level roadster design may be temporarily stranded.

Porsche has plans to launch a new small positioning below the Boxster roadster, but according to the latest Porsche CEO Matthias Muller said, "This car will be released until the time when the new generation of consumers ready to receive it." It is speculated that Porsche would be the case and the current economic downturn in Europe is directly related.


According to previous news, Porsche's entry-level car will be build based on the center platform R & D by Audi for open-top version of Audi R4, and extensive use aluminum materials, and use a 2.5-liter horizontally opposed 4-cylinder engine.
