2013 Mazda MX-5 hypothetical figure exposed

A imaginary picture of 2013 Mazda MX-5  was exposed recently.

 Existing Mazda MX-5 weight is only 1100kg, while the next-generation MX-5's weight 300 kg lighter than the existing models above, this means that a new generation of the MX-5 will only 800kg curb weight around. In body weight, the next-generation MX-5 will be lighter, but with higher strength steel manufacturing vehicle chassis, and will use smaller and lighter engine displacement. This change will make the MX-5 has more outstanding driving pleasure, but also to ensure lower fuel consumption and carbon dioxide emissions.

Power, according to the message before the new generation MX-5 will likely be used Mazda's new Sky-G gasoline engine, the displacement of 1.6L or 1.8L, with a matching 6-speed manual transmission and dual-clutch gearbox.
